Mercredi 8 novembre - Château de Fougères

This morning we took a short walk through Liffré to the bus stop where we caught the public bus to the Château de Fougères. We had a beautiful day for touring, and the students enjoyed listening to audioguides about the Château de Fougères, which dates back to the 11th century. They were curious (and creative) about the possible uses of all of the Château's architectural features.

After our trip to the Château de Fougères, we caught the public bus back to Liffré, stopped near school at a boulangerie for pastries and returned in time for our correspondents' dismissal. School was over at 12:30 p.m., so the students were able to spend the afternoon with their exchange families.
